The School Day
Time Allocation
Each Compass provision will follow a synchronised timetable in order to allow collaborative teaching across the centre. Students are issued with their own personalised timetable.

In the Centre lessons are 50 minutes long, with 6 lessons per day. At Compass we are committed to reflecting the requirements of the National Curriculum wherever possible. We deliver the core subject areas – English, Maths, Science and Geography, as well as Art, P.E. and PSHE.
In addition at KS4 we deliver a range of vocational subject’s thorough partnership with external providers.
We are committed to raising standards of Literacy and Numeracy at Compass. By literacy and numeracy we mean the ability to read, write and speak in English and to use Mathematics and ICT at a level necessary to function and progress at work and in society in general.
